Excitement as Trip draws closer
Our trip has been a long time in the planning a lot of "will we or won't we" but finally we have decided that it's time
Along with our good friends Peter & Val we have booked a cruise in Europe from Budapest to Amsterdam on the Avalon Panorama. After this Peter & Val will spend a week in England,while Lyn and Pieter spend time in Amsterdam and Belguim before we all meet up again in Paris.
We leave home on a Sunday and fly with Singapore Air to Budapest via Singapore and Frankfurt and we have been able to book window seats in the upper deck on the A380,these are in pairs and hopefully this will enable us to get some sleep.
Over the last few months the four of us have had numerous conversations in regard to clothing needs ,the weather conditions we could expect, where and when to buy train tickets etc.But now all the planning is done and the final countdown is about to begin.

ReplyDelete14 Days to go, at this time in 14 days we should be winging our way to Singapore and the beginning of our great adventure. Last night Pete, Val, and Gwenny spent an evening with Pieter and Lyn. A great night was had by all with much good humored banter and laughter. Thankyou to Lyn for a magnificent meal which was much enjoyed by all, Pity about the shortage of whisky though as the nips were a little under weight Ha!!!
