Three weeks to go

Three weeks to go not that we're counting , preparations are ongoing the kennel has been confirmed for Molly the dog, discussions have been held re the merits of turning the gas and electricity off , neighbors to be informed and asked to keep an eye on the place Our mail is nearly all electronic now so no concerns there , Peter has spoken to an Aunt who lives not far from the airport and we will be able to leave a vehicle there for the period we are away thereby making things easier when we return as we fly in very early in the morning . The long range weather forecast is very promising and they have been experiencing some very nice mild weather in Europe of late so we hope this continues .

Excitement as Trip draws closer

Our trip has been a long time in the planning a lot of "will we or won't we" but finally we have decided that it's time Along with our good friends Peter & Val we have booked a cruise in Europe from Budapest to Amsterdam on the Avalon Panorama. After this Peter & Val will spend a week in England,while Lyn and Pieter spend time in Amsterdam and Belguim before we all meet up again in Paris. We leave home on a Sunday and fly with Singapore Air to Budapest via Singapore and Frankfurt and we have been able to book window seats in the upper deck on the A380,these are in pairs and hopefully this will enable us to get some sleep. Over the last few months the four of us have had numerous conversations in regard to clothing needs ,the weather conditions we could expect, where and when to buy train tickets etc.But now all the planning is done and the final countdown is about to begin.
